Privacy Policy

Summary: Your Files Never Touch Our Servers

At ConvertStuff.online ("ConvertStuff", "we", "us", or "our"), privacy is the foundational pillar of our service architecture. Unlike conventional web converters that upload your confidential files to remote cloud storage, ConvertStuff runs 100% of its file conversion, image manipulation, and text processing algorithms locally inside your web browser via WebAssembly and JavaScript sandboxing. Your original files, processed output, and texts are never transmitted to, inspected by, or stored on any server.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect (User Files & Content)

When you use our image converters, PDF tools, audio/video extractors, case formatters, HTML viewers, or code utilities:

  • No File Uploads: Files dropped into our upload zones are processed directly in your device's volatile RAM memory (using HTML5 Canvas, WebAssembly, and Blob API).
  • No Document Storage: We do not operate remote file storage buckets or temporary server directories for user files.
  • No Content Inspection: We cannot view, read, index, or train AI models on your uploaded documents, images, contracts, or source code.

2. Information We Collect Automatically

Like virtually all website operators, we may collect standard non-personally identifiable technical information when you navigate ConvertStuff.online:

  • Device and Browser Telemetry: Browser type and version, operating system, screen resolution, and language settings.
  • Usage Logs: Pages visited, referring/exit URLs, timestamps, and search queries entered on our website.
  • IP Addresses: Masked and anonymized IP addresses collected strictly for geographical load balancing and DDoS protection.

3. Web Analytics & Google Analytics

We may use web analytics services, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4), to understand aggregate traffic trends and optimize tool performance.

Google Analytics uses cookies and tracking identifiers to measure user interactions. This data is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google Analytics operates with IP Anonymization enabled by default, ensuring full IP addresses are never written to disk.

You can prevent Google Analytics from tracking your activity by installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
