Free HEIC Compressor Online (Saves as JPEG)
This tool decodes your iPhone HEIC photo in the browser and saves it as a JPEG at the quality you choose, dropping EXIF and GPS data. HEIC is already an efficient format, so the JPEG is only smaller at moderate quality settings; if it would be larger than your HEIC, you get the original back instead.

How HEIC Compression Works Here
- The HEIC photo is decoded in your browser and re-encoded as JPEG at the quality you set (default 80%).
- HEIC usually stores a photo in about half the space of an equally good JPEG. A JPEG at high quality can therefore be larger than your HEIC; in that case you get your HEIC back unchanged and the page says so.
- Location and camera metadata (EXIF, GPS) are not copied into the JPEG.
- To shrink a photo further, reduce its pixel dimensions with the HEIC resizer.
